Several years ago, I began to try piecing together my father's service in World War II. I didn't have much when I started -- I don't have much now -- but I've had a lot of fun along the way and met some very interesting people.

Hi, I came across your blog when I googled Capt L.W.Mortenson, whose name I found under a layer of paint on an old wardrobe trunk I'd taken home from a garage sale in Concord, MA. Exciting!
